Cĕphăloedis, is, f. ( Cĕphăloedĭ-um, ii, n., acc. to Prisc. p. 596 P.), = Kephaloidis Ptol., Kephaloidion Strab., a small fortified town in Sicily, in the region of Himera, now Cefali, Cic. Verr. 2, 2, 52, § 128 Zumpt N. cr.; Plin. 3, 8, 14, § 90.—
